Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our longstanding talent partner with the recruitment of an Electronic Technician to join the team on a permanent basis to be based out of their Teesside facility.

You will be working within the monitors department, performing reparis and calibration of radiation detection equipment, full, extensive training will be provided. This role is a full-time onsite day shift position, they do offer flexible start and finish times and excellent benefits.

Job Description
  • Responsible for receiving and correctly logging radiation monitors onto the Monitors calibration database.
  • Responsible for ensuring monitor calibrations are accurate and done to the correct standard, prior to return to the client.
  • Responsible for identifying faults in customer instrumentation and implementing the required repair prior to calibration.
  • Leading on repairs through designation as a Responsible Person
Skills Required
  • A-Level (ideally within a scientific subject)
  • At least 3 years inudstry experience
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, soldering equipment.
  • Experienced with repair of electronic / electrical components / systems
