Electronics Applications Technician | Newport

Our client is looking for an Electronics Applications Technician to provide technical support and guidance to customers, internal sales teams, and staff. They will also develop and maintain technical documentation and promotional materials to assist in product sales and market growth.

The Role
  • Provide engineering support to customers by responding to technical enquiries, reviewing and validating design implementations, and attending international customer meetings or trade exhibitions as required.
  • Deliver technical assistance to distributors, representatives, and internal marketing teams.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including datasheets and product specifications.
  • Develop application notes, reference designs, and supporting technical drawings.
Key Skills and Experience
  • A strong interest and background in electronics, with several years of relevant industry experience.
  • Qualification in Electronics Engineering (Degree, HND, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proven ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A customer‑focused mindset, with experience supporting global clients on technical or product‑related issues.
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team environment and willingness to travel internationally when required.
