Job Description

Position: Electronics Technician

Location: Wigan

Salary: Up to £32,000

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our growing team in Wigan on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving and wants to build a long-term, stable career within a forward-thinking business.

Role Overview:

As an Electronics Technician, you will work closely with R&D, production and manufacturing teams to support New Product Introduction, testing and repair. You will carry out fault finding down to component level, using oscilloscopes, multimeters and spectrum analysers to diagnose and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test, repair and fault find to component level.
  • Work with and adapt existing test jigs, as well as support the development of new ones.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production and manufacturing teams on New Product Introduction.
  • Use a range of test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters and spectrum analysers.
  • Provide detailed diagnosis and technical support as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role.
  • Strong background in testing, repair and diagnosis of electronic systems.
  • Skilled in using standard electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
