Electrician | UK Travel | Full-time

We’re supporting a leading renewable energy contractor in their search for an Electrician to join their team working on commercial solar PV installation projects across the UK.

This role would suit someone with electrical site experience who’s looking to develop their skills within the growing renewable energy sector. You’ll be working alongside experienced electricians and project teams, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality installations on commercial and industrial sites.

You don’t need to have worked in solar before - what’s important is a solid electrical background, reliability and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installation on large-scale commercial solar PV sites
• Support lead electricians with setup, containment, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship

Requirements

• Experience as an electrical improver or support electrician
• ECS Electrical Labourer Card
• Level 2 qualification in Electrical Installations (C&G or EAL)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
• Professional, reliable, and proactive approach

Desirable

• Level 3 Electrical Installations qualification
• AM2 or NVQ Level 3
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
• PV or EV installation training
