About The Role:
Working Days:

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 & on call rota for evenings and weekends

Main Purpose:

Working as a member of the on‑site Facilities Services Team, the Electrician will work closely with other members to deliver a safe and comfortable working environment to our Aegon customer.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Carry out PPM and general electrical repairs, across domestic and basic commercial buildings.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed reporting using handheld tablet.
  • Maintain site logbooks.
  • Ensure accurate stock control and reporting.
  • Monitor and respond to site BMS systems.
  • Identify and source materials for work orders.
  • Attend regular Engineer meetings, H&S briefings and toolbox talks, as required by Supervisor.
  • Provide support to the on‑site Technical Supervisor by participating and contributing to meetings, when required.
  • Ensure robust reporting of your day‑to‑day activities are in place and updated on a regular basis; this includes on‑site logbooks and the CAFM system.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:
Essential:
  • Full driving licence required
  • Formal Apprenticeship and formal trade qualifications in a technical field
  • Technical problem‑solving abilities
  • Experience of working within planned maintenance schemes
  • The ability to react and work within a team to resolve unforeseen breakdowns in a positive manner
  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills, written and oral
  • Full Driving License
Desirable:
  • Formal H&S training & qualifications
  • Technical knowledge of working within an FM environment
  • Experience within:
    • HVAC Plant
    • UPS Systems
    • Low Voltage Distribution networks
    • Building Management Systems
