The Role

Our client, a growing marine and industrial services company based in Liverpool, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their permanent engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of industrial and manufacturing sites, delivering high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on control panels, machinery, and plant equipment
  • Electrical testing, inspection, and compliance to current regulations
  • Working with motors, drives, conveyors, and industrial control systems
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with H&S standards
  • Liaising with site supervisors, engineers, and clients as required
  • Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities
Essential Requirements
  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven experience in an industrial environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Experience with PLCs, automation, or control systems
  • Electrical inspection and testing qualification
