About your role:

We need Electricians to join our team of experienced Field Engineers to ensure our customers receive help when they need it. Being there for our customers is our priority. You will play a pivotal role in British Gas's Service Promise of same-day fixes.

Base salary is £39,797 with uncapped OTE — a realistic expectation of £54,991 through our field reward scheme.

As a British Gas Electrician, you will bring extensive experience in domestic electrical work, including fault finding, installation, and rewires (typically a minimum of 2 years’ qualified experience). Your customer service skills and problem-solving ability will enable you to diagnose defects, work safely to ensure first-time fixes, and promote British Gas products and services by providing professional advice.

Here's what we’re looking for:

• City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), culminating in a Level 3 Technical Certificate including the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 certificate.
• Evidence of experience working in the electrical industry.
• Up-to-date City & Guilds 2382 - B.S. 7671 IET Wiring regulations certificate.
• A City and Guilds 2391.52 (or equivalent) would be desirable.
