Job summary

A leading UK water services company is seeking an Electrical Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintain electrical systems at their Hampton Sewage Treatment Works. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and the Electricity at Work Regulations. The successful candidate will have an HNC or NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering and proven experience in industrial electrical power. Plus, the role offers a competitive salary of up to £58,000 per annum and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience in industrial electrical power and engineering.
  • Experience in the application of electrical engineering within a large industrial utility or water company.
  • Training and operational experience as an Authorised Person.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Timely input to high voltage or complex low voltage asset upgrade schemes.
  • Conduct electrical system failure investigations and produce reports.

Mentoring and coaching

Education

HNC, NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering
