Overview

Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading Engineering and Industrial Solutions Sub-Contractor who operate in the Power Generation, Utilities, Petrochemical and Heavy Industry sector. As part of their continued growth and investment, they are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the day to day activities across site operations.

Responsibilities and duties

• Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for: Ensure the technicians are on time, clear on requirements and following HSE.
• Conduct technical reports.
• Assist with work scope preparations this could be PPE, tooling, QA documents, equipment sign off documents such as pump requirements.
• Check regularly with customers to ensure the work is being conducted satisfactorily to the customers\' requirements.
• Attend safety meetings each month with team.
• Supervise single projects or outages.
• Ensure works scheduled are met on time and the team understand the requirements of each scope.
• Conduct toolbox talks on larger projects.
• Conduct site audits with team positives and negatives.
• Liaise with engineers, planners, and other departments to coordinate work and resolve problems.
