A prominent training institution in Coventry is looking for an Apprentice Trainer to manage and develop innovative engineering training programs. The ideal candidate will have substantial engineering knowledge along with teaching qualifications to deliver effective instruction to apprentices, ensuring compliance with safety standards and facilitating their progression. This Apprentice Trainer role is required to manage and develop a comprehensive and innovative teaching and learning experience in a variety of practical and theoretical skills within the current apprenticeship trailblazer standards.
This role will require you to deliver high quality engineering training to satisfy Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs. You deliver topics which you have knowledge or experience in to support the smooth delivery of learning to people accessing MTC Training provision.
You will also develop softer skills which are embedded within apprenticeships. This will require you to provide regular constructive feedback to learners and record the impact of their own learning on a regular basis.
MTC Training will fund and support successful candidates to achieve their teaching qualification. This must be completed within two years of starting employment as an Engineering Trainer.
The successful applicant will be required to promptly complete training relating to safeguarding and prevent and is expected to undertake ongoing training in relation to children’s safety and wellbeing.
The successful applicant will be expected to maintain our safeguarding culture and contribute to it by supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead and safeguarding team】
The successful applicant will be required to adhere to our Code of Conduct and share our commitment to the welfare of children.
