Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: West Midlands

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £40,000 to £42,000 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to cover a mobile position across the West Midlands. This role involves planned and reactive maintenance on commercial sites that include offices, warehouses, schools, etc. The engineer will join an existing electrical team and will be expected to sign off their own works; therefore, 2391 Test and Inspect is required.

Due to the nature of the work, some out-of-hours work is required. There is no on-call rota, but overtime is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on commercial sites across the West Midlands (offices, warehouses, schools, etc.).
• Work as part of an existing electrical team and sign off your own works.
• Present and ensure compliance with 2391 Test and Inspect requirements.
• Occasional out-of-hours work as needed.

Requirements

• Strong background in Commercial Electrical Maintenance
• Level 3 qualified with 18th Edition
• Essential: 2391 Test and Inspect
• Full UK driving licence
• Based in a commutable location to Birmingham
• Happy to cover some out-of-hours work
