Overview

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Farnborough - 45k + Package. This is a permanent, full-time position on a critical site in Farnborough. The client is a well-established service provider offering long-term stability, a competitive salary, and a strong culture of professional development. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the site's electrical systems, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to high compliance standards. By joining the team you will become eligible for the training and development programme.

Responsibilities
  • Upgrade existing lighting systems to energy-efficient LED solutions
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults swiftly and effectively
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Carry out electrical repairs and small installation projects
  • Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
  • Accurately maintain service records and logs
  • Work collaboratively with on-site management and other trades to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation is required (Recognised Equivalents will also be suitable)
  • City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing qualification would be a bonus
  • Proven experience in a critical environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Solid understanding of electrical safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
