Overview

Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Building Services) – Onsite and weekend work

Corsham, Wiltshire (SN13)

Salary DOE • 25 days annual leave inclusive of up to 3 days December shut-down • Buy or sell up to 5 days annual leave

Responsibilities
  • Be part of the Corsham Facilities Management team and help enable the smooth delivery of projects on-site.
  • Based on the customer site with an on-call roster and occasional weekend maintenance, up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year.
  • Manage the maintenance of electrical system installations within the facility.
  • Act as the appointed Subject Matter Expert in Electrical systems and be the main focal point for all electrical aspects (maintenance and fault finding) on site.
  • Electrical Installation and maintenance
  • Planning and managing internal projects
  • Control and maintain risk assessments
  • Undertake PAT testing
  • Ensure all scheduled logbook activities are completed
  • Carry out planned and reactive tasks (electrical and occasionally mechanical)
Qualifications
  • C&G 2365 (levels 2 and 3) Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial)
  • C&G 2377 PAT testing or equivalent
  • Experience in repairs and maintenance of complex commercial electrical and MEP systems
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Desirable: MOD Facilities Management experience
  • Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Natural enjoyment of problem solving, willingness to learn, and ability to work with others
  • Willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government SC security clearance
