Responsibilities
  • Deliver Essential Skills courses, including to adult learners within the Entry to Employment department.
  • Prepare learners for meaningful careers by combining vocational training, essential skills development and work experience.
  • Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to break down barriers and support learners in building confidence and skills.
Skills & Experience
  • A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • A Level 5 subject specialism in ESOL.
  • Experience of teaching ESOL in a further education college and evidence of the ability to teach effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including up to two evenings a week, to deliver a student-focused curriculum.
  • Commitment to an inclusive education and a fully inclusive and welcoming approach to meeting the needs of students.
  • Commitment to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion within the college.
