Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to water sector projects in the UK. You will prepare electrical designs for water treatment equipment, work with MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, and PLC/SCADA systems, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Working towards IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on client sites.
• Work with Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design team to meet brief, on programme and within budget.
• Produce technical specifications and procurement schedules; review supplier bids and submissions.
• Review existing installed systems and interface from site visits and reports.
• Engage with the client to manage relationships and support their aims.
