Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Basingstoke and surrounding areas is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a growing FM team. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, attend reactive maintenance across commercial office buildings, and handle fault finding and testing.

The role offers a £45,000–£50,000 basic salary, a company van, uniform provided and ample overtime opportunities with an on-call rota. A full UK driving licence is required and 29 days’ holiday plus pension are included.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician (Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
• Comfortable with both electrical and fabric maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Role

• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
• Complete maintenance reports using handheld technology

Travel is kept sensible, with engineers travelling up to approximately 1.5 hours to site where required.

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified Electrician (Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition
• Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
• Comfortable carrying out both electrical and fabric maintenance
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary
• 40-hour working week
• Company van (trade-specific)
• Uniform provided
• Guaranteed overtime available if wanted
• Saturday overtime paid at Time & a Half for the first 2 hours, then Double Time
• Sunday overtime paid at Double Time
• On-call rota: 1 in 8
• Travel deduction of 30 minutes each way
