Job summary

A dynamic installation company in Swindon is seeking a skilled Commercial Installation Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will install and test electrical systems, including both single and three-phase systems, while working with technical drawings in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a Level 3 Electrician certification, experience in commercial and industrial installations, and holds a 2391 Test & Inspection qualification. Qualifications

• Level 3 (or higher) Electrician certification & 18th Edition required.
• Experience in commercial/industrial installations is mandatory.
• 2391 Test & Inspection qualification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and test single and three-phase electrical systems up to 400V.
• Carry out installation of tray, conduit, trunking, SWA and HO7RNF cabling.
• Configure and test control panels and PDUs from technical drawings.

Now Hiring: Commercial Installation Electrical Engineer

Swindon area

£40,000 + paid travel hours (@£8,000)

We’re looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team delivering electrical installations for Data Centre Telecommunications equipment. This is a hands‑on role for a trusted professional able to work with minimal supervision in a critical environment.

What you’ll do:

• Install and test single and three-phase electrical systems (up to 400V)
• Carry out tray, conduit, trunking, SWA and HO7RNF cabling installations
• Configure, terminate and test control panels and PDUs
• Read and work from technical drawings to deliver accurate, safe results

What you’ll need:

• Level 3 (or higher) Electrician certification & 18th Edition
• Commercial/industrial installation experience
• 2391 Test & Inspection
• Strong knowledge of armoured cabling and containment systems

Bonus if you have:

• Data centre or critical environment experience
• Knowledge of HVAC, UPS, generators or switchgear
• H&S qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH)
