£45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits

Days – Monday to Friday (occasional travel)

We're representing a leading mechatronic systems manufacturer supplying engineered automation and motion control solutions across advanced manufacturing sectors. As part of their continued growth, they're seeking an Electrical Engineer to take a key role in the final stages of system assembly, testing, and commissioning.

This is a hands‑on, practical position combining electrical build work with technical documentation and commissioning support. You'll work closely with design, controls, and mechanical teams to ensure each system is delivered to specification, safely, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical build, wiring, and integration of mechatronic and automation systems
  • Support functional testing, fault finding, and system commissioning
  • Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards throughout all work
  • Collaborate with design and controls engineers to resolve technical issues
  • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation, test results, and build records
  • Provide occasional on‑site commissioning or customer support as required
Requirements
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Strong practical background in electrical assembly or panel wiring
  • Experience with automation, robotics, or motion control systems desirable
  • Confident reading schematics and working to technical documentation
  • Working knowledge of PLC or control interfaces advantageous
  • Quality‑focused and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills
