Job description

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward‑thinking organisation. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market‑leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long‑term career progression. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve contract SLA/KPI in all reactive / planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site.
  • Understand and complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Carry out minor surveys and inspections.
  • Learn, understand and comply with client policies and procedures.
  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, using point‑of‑work risk assessments where required.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Assist with monitoring and supervision of subcontractors on a day‑to‑day basis, including apprentices.
  • Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated water services equipment, including fault diagnostics and repair.
  • Participate in adherence to Quality System documentation.
Qualifications
  • City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualifications.
  • Experience in 3‑phase and single‑phase electrical installations & repair, motors, pumps, and some controls are desirable.
  • Competent LV electrical installation and maintenance excluding testing.
  • Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
  • Full UK driving licence.
