Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Engineering Design Manager to lead design input on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, from concept to delivery. You will work with clients to ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and innovative, coordinating across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing design through the full project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of BIM and common data environments.
• Degree qualified in an engineering discipline; Chartered status preferred.
• Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
• People and time management abilities with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure buildable, compliant and innovative designs.
• Coordinate across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical domains.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams and assure technical quality.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and consultants on scope and risk.
• Drive sustainable engineering solutions and embed health and safety considerations.
