Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager to lead design input on major infrastructure projects. You will work with clients to ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and efficient, from early concepts through delivery.

You will manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and drive innovative, sustainable solutions while embedding health, safety and environmental considerations across the asset

Qualifications

• Experience managing design through full project lifecycle.
• Strong BIM knowledge and data environments.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chartered status preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept through delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure fit-for-purpose designs.
• Manage interfaces and ensure constructability and compliance.
• Embed health, safety and environmental considerations.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
