Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Engineering Design Manager to lead multi-disciplinary design input from concept to delivery on critical national infrastructure projects in the Real Estate sector.

You will drive innovative, buildable, and compliant design solutions while embedding health, safety and environmental considerations and ensuring effective integration across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical functions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing design through the full project lifecycle across multiple sectors.
• Understanding of integrated design delivery and consultant performance management.
• Knowledge of BIM and common data environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project Manager to manage the contract with external design consultants and contractors.
• Lead technical assurance, review constructability, and manage design interfaces.
• Manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams from consultants and partners.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, maintenance and strategic stakeholders.
