A leading engineering company in Stafford is seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Technician to create detailed schematics and support design projects in the nuclear industry. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience with AutoCAD for 2D electrical design and strong documentation skills. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with AutoCAD for 2D electrical design.
• Ability to create and check detailed schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Solely British and lived in the UK for the last 5 years (security requirement).

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and accurate 2D electrical drawings.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation including drawings and specifications.
• Supporting engineers and project managers in design review meetings.
• Identifying and resolving design issues with innovative solutions.
• Staying up to date with CAD software and industry trends.

Electrical CAD Technician

Permanent - Stafford | Hybrid

What will you be doing?

• Staying up to date with CAD software and industry trends
• Receiving full training on AutoCAD Electrical software
