Qualifications

• Knowledge and previous experience of heavy vehicle bodywork repairs and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and follow complex technical instructions in maintenance manuals.
• Awareness of risk assessment and Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine inspection and maintenance of company vehicles.
• Diagnose faults by road testing and using diagnostic software.
• Train and mentor apprentices and new recruits.

Skills

Knowledge and experience of heavy vehicle bodywork repairs

Ability to follow technical instructions

Understanding of risk assessment and Health and Safety practices

Basic automotive electrics

Experience in analysing and fault finding
