Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an EHCP Coordinator within a Local Authority setting.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory EHCP processes.
• Experience drafting, amending and reviewing Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Ability to manage phase transfer activity effectively and accurately.
• Excellent communication and case management skills with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate EHCP amendments across a varied caseload.
• Lead on phase transfers ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
• Draft and update Education, Health and Care Plans for children and young people aged 0-25.
• Respond to parent, school and professional queries in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and process annual reviews in line with legislation and best practice.
