Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a contract role in Bromley to support the SEND Service with EHCP Annual Reviews and backlog reduction. The role focuses on ensuring timely, compliant reviews and high-quality service for children and young people with SEND.

You will coordinate reviews end-to-end, review supporting documentation, and communicate outcomes to schools, parents, and partner agencies, while working to reduce backlog and meet statutory deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating EHCP Annual Reviews within a Local Authority SEND team.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation (Children and Families Act 2014) and SEND Code of Practice.
• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development relevant to SEND or local government services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a high volume of EHCP Annual Reviews from initiation to completion.
• Ensure Annual Reviews are conducted within statutory timescales and SEND Code of Practice requirements.
• Review documentation from schools, parents, carers, and partner agencies.
• Prepare recommendations and communicate Annual Review outcomes to stakeholders.
• Work proactively to reduce the Annual Review backlog, prioritising cases by risk and deadlines.
• Liaise with schools, health professionals, social care teams, and families to gather information and progress reviews.
