Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced SEND Casework Officer to manage a caseload of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will ensure statutory processes are completed accurately and within required timescales.

The role offers a highly flexible hybrid basis with remote work, with office attendance usually once per month in Oxfordshire. You will coordinate Annual Reviews, Phase Transfers and cross‑agency collaboration, working closely with

Qualifications

• Experience working with EHCP/SEND casework.
• Experience in a Local Authority environment.
• Experience with Annual Reviews and Phase Transfers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.
• Coordinate and monitor Annual Reviews and Phase Transfers.
• Oversee cases moving into and out of the county.
• Monitor EHCP provision and ensure plans are implemented.
• Act as main contact for families, schools and professionals.
• Support mediation and Tribunal processes and prepare information for panels.
• Maintain accurate case records and databases.
