Qualifications

• Experience in SEND services, education or children’s services.
• Knowledge of Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience managing casework and maintaining records.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work within statutory timescales and regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and annual reviews.
• Experience drafting and amending EHCPs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate EHC assessments and annual reviews for 0–14 year olds.
• Manage a caseload of children with EHCPs.
• Collaborate with schools, parents, health professionals and partner agencies.
• Ensure statutory SEND processes meet timescales.
• Draft, review and amend EHCPs for accuracy and outcomes.
• Gather and analyse professional advice from stakeholders.
• Monitor annual reviews and implement recommendations.

• Prepare reports and correspondence related to SEND casework.
• Identify escalation issues impacting timescales or service delivery.
• Contribute to service improvements and SEND process development.
• Support positive educational outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
