We are seeking a Financial Controller

Are you a commercially savvy, qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, or ACCA) with experience managing multiple accounting and compliance requirements across different jurisdictions in EMEA? Do you excel as a Finance Business Partner with full responsibility for regional financial integrity and reporting?

This on-site role requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the office (Wednesday and either Tuesday or Thursday).

What you will do:

1. Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, maintaining data integrity in financial records, and analyzing financial information for reporting to the Global Financial Controller.
2. Maintain internal controls, oversee balance sheet reviews, and manage the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
3. Own the statutory accounts production process, liaise with auditors, and support tax-related activities with the Danaher tax team.
4. Lead revenue recognition processes and provide technical support, including financial billing controls.
5. Drive continuous process improvements and implement changes in controls and procedures.
6. Act as a business partner across all areas of IDBS to achieve financial objectives related to revenue and operating income.
7. Manage the finance team in line with Danaher's Core Behaviours, fostering motivation, talent retention, and succession planning.

Success in this role looks like:

1. Experience with NetSuite and SaaS software companies is desirable.
2. Qualified Accountant with experience in financial reporting within a global matrix organization.
3. Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, ASC606, and transactional finance capabilities.
4. Strong understanding of internal control procedures and tax concepts.
5. Business-oriented with excellent business partnering skills.
6. Proven leadership ability to manage and develop a finance team.
7. Capability to meet tight deadlines and drive process improvements.
