Base pay range

Financial Controller | £80k + Bonus | Remote (with office options)

Must be UK Based | Business Services | Growth through M&A

We're working with a private, rapidly expanding business services company through strategic acquisitions. As they grow, they seek a Financial Controller to lead a small team of 2 and oversee the daily finance operations.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing and enhancing finance functions, not just maintaining them.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead core finance functions: reporting, forecasting, budgeting, controls

• Align with Group reporting standards (QuickBooks and IBM Cognos Controller)

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial SME or mid-sized environments
• Ability to work strategically and operationally
• Comfortable with change and ambiguity
• Experience managing small teams and enhancing finance functions

Experience in service-based, engineering, or consulting sectors is a plus, but adaptability and mindset are crucial.
