Are you a finance professional looking for your next challenge? We are partnering exclusively with a high growth PE-backed tech business to recruit a Financial Controller to drive financial performance during a critical transition. Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
2. Generate accurate and timely management reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Regularly reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
4. Identify and promptly resolve discrepancies in financial records.
5. Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
6. Monitor financial performance against budgets and analyse variances.
7. Manage the company’s working capital.
8. Prepare payment runs for approval and provide short-term cash flow forecasts for stakeholders.
9. Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial regulations, and company policies.
10. Support the annual audit process with necessary documentation and expertise.
11. Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
12. Provide actionable financial insights to inform decision-making.
13. Work cross-functionally with departments to guide financial decisions.
14. Offer expert advice on financial policies and best practices.
