Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks to help maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician supports the NOC engineering team by ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Assign tickets to support teams, field engineers, and service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management, including liaising with providers and regional teams.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
