Teleperformance is hiring a Customer Expert in Glasgow to handle inbound calls for Nationwide. Requires at least 6 months contact centre experience. Salary £26,436.80 per year. Location: Glasgow (not remote); 40 hours/week with shift rotation."

You will conduct investigations into economic crime, support customers via phone, and provide risk-based decisions within defined procedures. Strong communication, accuracy and IT skills are essential, with benefits and ongoing progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake thorough investigations across Nationwide Group to protect the Society against Economic Crime
• Support customers and internal departments via inbound and outbound telephony on prevention, detection and investigation of Economic Crime
• Investigate Economic Crime cases over the phone and document risk-based updates to support investigations
• Make independent risk-based decisions
• Articulate updates and outcomes to stakeholders and customers in verbal and written form
• Adhere to timescales within Financial Approval Mandate
• Follow processes to ensure protection against Economic Crime and regulatory compliance
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the Society and Protect Operational teams
• Take accountability for different Economic Crime investigations and manage/report risks
• Support training and coaching of colleagues within Protect with specialist knowledge
• Contribute to management of team mailboxes
• Escalate cases according to procedures
