Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced EC&I Engineer for a nuclear project in Cumbria. This role offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office. The ideal candidate must have 10-15 years of experience in EC&I engineering, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in various engineering tools. Candidates must also hold or be eligible for SC or DV clearance.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years' experience working as an EC&I Engineer.
• 5+ years working in the Nuclear industry.
• Proficient in reviewing supplier documentation for safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering activities related to EC&I in Nuclear projects.

Overview

EC&I Engineer – Cumbria - Hybrid - 3 days a week in office

£48-52 per hour

Outside of IR35

Essential Requirements

• 10-15+ years' experience working as a EC&I Engineer
• 5+ years working within the Nuclear industry
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, Relux
• Experience in the review of supplier documentation for Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems (e.g. alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring).
• This is a role within the Nuclear industry so you will be required to hold BPSS or SC clearance to start this position. The ideal candidate will need to hold a UK passport.
• The ideal candidate will already hold SC or DV clearance.
