A great opportunity for a Sous Chef is available at a 4* multi outlet Spa Hotel located near Newark. As Sous Chef, you will assist the Senior staff to organise, monitor and train the large team of chefs. The spa hotel has two restaurants offering different menu choices but both serving healthy fresh food dishes to the guests. There is also a busy afternoon tea service, a separate bar menu for all day diners, and a busy function and banqueting department which is popular for weddings. In this role of Sous Chef, you will predominantly be overseeing the main restaurant but will need to be flexible to work across all areas. This is a great chance to work in a busy fresh food environment with plenty of opportunities to gain experience and progress.
Requirements:
The Head Chef is seeking a passionate Sous Chef who is looking for a role where they can commit themselves in a fast-paced quality kitchen. Previous experience working in high-volume fresh food kitchens is essential along with very strong organisational skills.
