Realise is recruiting qualified Early Years Trainer Assessors to support learners in the Derby region.
Responsibilities
- Support a caseload of 45 learners across the region, face‑to‑face and remotely.
- Deliver a range of award‑winning qualifications.
- Create appropriate solutions to ensure learners have the best experience possible and develop their interests and career.
- Utilise the e‑portfolio system to effectively manage the learner journey.
Salary
- Qualified Trainer delivering Level 3 – up to £29,000.
- Qualified Trainer delivering Level 5 – up to £30,000.
- Earn up to £160 bonus for each learner referred.
Location
This is a home‑based role with travel within approximately a 45‑mile radius to visit learners and employers. Around 70% of the week will be spent on the road, but you’ll manage your own diary and enjoy flexibility.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years, or equivalent – essential.
- Significant occupational competency in an Early Years setting.
- Assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA/A1/D32/33, CAVA) – essential.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) – advantageous.
- Experience in building and managing your own caseload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- IT competence with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
