Location: Gloucester
Salary: £444.60 - £529.45 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary

About the Role:
Monarch Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants to make a real difference in their early development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the teacher as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery).
  • A relevant qualification in childcare or education (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
