Early Years Teacher - Doncaster

Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years Teacher looking for flexible, temporary ongoing work in Doncaster?

Academics are working with welcoming and supportive Early Years settings seeking dedicated Early Years Teacher professionals who can inspire young children aged 3-5 during this crucial stage of development.

Position: Early Years Teacher

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing positions

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you

About the Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting children's early development, curiosity, communication, and love of learning. You will create stimulating learning opportunities linked to the EYFS curriculum, encourage independence through play-based learning, and work alongside staff and parents to ensure pupils thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

To work as an Early Years Teacher in a nursery, preschool or early years unit, candidates typically require Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) achieved through Early Years ITT or an Early Years Teacher Degree Apprenticeship (EYTDA).

To work as an Early Years Teacher in a primary school, including Reception, candidates require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Use observational assessments (e.g. learning journeys, EYFS profiles)
