Early Years Lead Teacher - One-Form Entry Catholic Primary School (Angel)

Veritas Education is seeking an exceptional Early Years Lead Teacher for a one-form entry Catholic primary school located in Angel. This role requires a highly skilled practitioner with extensive Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) experience and strong leadership capability. The school is well-regarded for its nurturing ethos, supportive staff team, and commitment to providing high-quality early education within a Catholic framework. (Applicants do not need to be practising Catholics.)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the EYFS provision, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the phase.
  • Deliver outstanding classroom practice in line with EYFS curriculum and school policies.
  • Oversee planning, assessment, environment design, and continuous provision.
  • Support and mentor EYFS support staff, promoting best practice across the setting.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Senior Leadership Team and parents to support pupil progress and pastoral development.
  • Uphold and contribute to the school's Catholic ethos and inclusive values.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
  • Significant experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and securing strong pupil outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development, safeguarding, and curriculum expectations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to full-time working and long-term school development.
