Overview
Nursery Bank Staff required for nursery settings across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. Nursery Assistants required for work in EYFS settings across the Fylde Coast. Applicants must have experience working in nurseries, primary settings or with children aged 0-4. Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification is essential. This role is on an ADHOC basis starting ASAP to support EYFS specialists in nurseries and mainstream primary schools.
We are looking to recruit proactive, passionate individuals who will support early learners in line with all areas of the EYFS curriculum. Partner nurseries are seeking Practitioners to work at short notice to cover short-term/medium-term absences. There may also be opportunities for longer-term posts that could lead to permanent positions.
Locations include the following areas:
- Blackpool
- Poulton-Le-Fylde
- Fleetwood
- Thornton
- Lytham
Responsibilities
- Support learners in the EYFS and understand the EYFS curriculum and Early Learning Goals
- Provide effective support across the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Adapt to short-notice bookings and be flexible with hours
- Maintain a professional attitude and strong communication with schools and colleagues
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience supporting learners in the EYFS
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and Early Learning Goals
- Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional conduct
- Weekly availability (minimum of 3 days per week)
- Ability to travel to local schools on short notice
Hours & Booking Details
- Hours within the EYFS typically range from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM; shifts within these hours are possible

- Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay
