As a Nursery Practitioner, prior experience working within early years is essential, and it is required that you hold a relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification.

Your responsibilities as an Early Years Nursery Practitioner will include:
  • Supporting key children
  • Communicating with other team members and parents/guardians
  • Carrying out risk assessments throughout the day
  • Creating a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children
  • Assisting children with development of early reading and early maths skills
  • Supporting children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development
  • Working collaboratively with your colleagues in the running of activities and organisation of the room

A passion for working with young children and a good understanding of the EYFS framework is needed for this role, and good communication and interpersonal skills is very important.
