Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a Whitchurch-based school. The role is temporary, full-time (potentially permanent for the right educator) with a start date in October 2026 or sooner. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm.

Daily pay is £92.63, with on-the-job training and safeguarding checks in place. The role focuses on supporting children in EYFS, fostering resilience, and teamwork with staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an EYFS setting or willingness to learn/train within the role
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willing to obtain one
• An up-to-date CV outlining education and employment history

A lovely school based in Whitchurch is looking for a caring and motivated LSA to join their reception team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LSA looking for a fulfilling role to support children with their learning and development. Experience is desired; however the school are happy to offer training on the job if you are keen to learn and find a role in education.

Applicants should have:

• Previous experience of working in an EYFS setting or willingness to learn/train within the role
• An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• An up to date CV outlining education and employment history
