Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves are seeking an EYFS Class Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Epping Forest. The role is temporary, full-time, with an ASAP start, supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage.

You will work with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities and provide one-to-one or small-group support to nurture children's development. Ideal candidates will have EYFS experience, a genuine passion for helping young learners, and a patient, enthusiastic approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in EYFS, nursery or primary school settings.
• Genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
• Nurturing, patient, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
• Good understanding of EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
• Legally entitled to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the EYFS with learning, development and wellbeing.

EYFS Class LSA – Epping Forest – ASAP Start

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Epping Forest is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Class Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LSA or someone with a strong background working with young children to support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The Role – As an EYFS Class LSA, you will:

• Support children across the EYFS with their learning, development and wellbeing
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Encourage children's communication, language and social development
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development
• Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Assist with classroom routines and daily activities
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
• Support children with additional or individual learning needs
• Observe children's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and the wider school team
