Supply Desk is inviting applications for an EYFS Learning Support Assistant in a full-time, long-term role at a primary school in Princes Risborough. You will assist with classroom learning and resource preparation, supporting pupils with additional needs to help them thrive.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils’ learning in the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation of resources.
• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEN).
• Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress to the class teacher.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and external professionals.

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Princes Risborough area to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Support Assistant (LSA). Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils’ learning in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation of resources
• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEN)
• Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
• A patient, supportive, and positive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development

Desirable

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification)
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
