Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Basingstoke. You will provide 1:1 and classroom support to pupils across EYFS to KS2, supporting learning and social development.

This temporary role offers full-time hours, a supportive team, ongoing professional development and a clear pathway to potential permanent employment for the right candidate. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process, with full pension and referral bonus

Qualifications

  • UK experience as a LSA in a primary or SEND setting is essential.
  • Proactive and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A child DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • Happy to support pupils from Reception Year 6.
  • Confident working 1:1 and in groups.

Hours: Monday Friday

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in the classroom? An enthusiastic mainstream primary school in Basingstoke is seeking engaging and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to support in a variety of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 year groups.

  • UK experience as a LSA in a primary or SEND school setting is essential

  • Relevant qualifications are an advantage
  • A child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Happy to support pupils from Reception Year 6

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
