Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an Early Years Learning Support Assistant in Whitchurch, Hampshire. This temporary, full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm, with a start date in October 2026 or sooner.

Daily pay is £92.63, and the school may offer training on the job for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have EYFS experience or willingness to learn, provide relevant references, hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one, and present an up-to-date CV outlining

Responsibilities

• Support children with learning and development in a reception/early years setting.

• Collaborate with staff, parents and pupils to support individual needs.
• Maintain child safety and safeguarding practices.

A lovely school based in Whitchurch is looking for a caring and motivated LSA to join their reception team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LSA looking for a fulfilling role to support children with their learning and development. Experience is desired; however the school are happy to offer training on the job if you are keen to learn and find a role in education.

Applicants should have:

• Previous experience of working in an EYFS setting or willingness to learn/train within the role
• Relevant references
• An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• An up to date CV outlining education and employment history
