Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a pupil with SEN in a primary setting in Dibden, Southampton. This long-term opportunity involves 1:1 support and helping the pupil access learning alongside the class teacher.

You should be reliable, patient and able to build positive relationships. A valid Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one is required. Competitive pay and ongoing professional development are offered.

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN is an advantage.
  • Patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
  • Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting young learners.

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Dibden, Southampton on a long-term basis.

This rewarding role involves providing classroom support and 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.

The Role
  • Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with SEN.
  • Help create an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Encourage the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and the school's SEN team.
