Job summary

A leading children's activity provider is looking for an Early Years Instructor in Cheltenham. This position involves ensuring children's safety and delivering structured activities such as sports and arts. In collaboration with the Early Years Leader, the instructor will adhere to EYFS requirements, promoting participation. The role offers both full-time and part-time options during seasonal holidays, with additional hours possible for those qualified in pediatric first aid.

Qualifications

• Experience with Early Years education or child care.
• Ability to follow EYFS requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children.

• Deliver outstanding, structured activities to Early Years children.

Job description

The Details

• Title: Early Years Instructor
• Contract: Seasonal holiday work available in Easter, Summer and other half term holidays.
• Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm weekdays. Full time or part time roles available and additional hours available for staff that hold a paediatric first aid qualification (usually 8am – 6pm).

Summary Of Position

• Ensure the welfare and safety of the children
• Deliver outstanding, structured activities (sports, arts, play) to the Early Years children, our Ultimate Activity Juniors.
• Working alongside your Early Years Leader, ensure activities follow the EYFS requirements for learning and development, with an emphasis on participation.
• Take on a pastoral role as a key contact for the 4 and 5 year olds on camp, providing high quality care.
