Job description

Our client is a global asset management firm with an excellent reputation in the institutional market. This is an ideal opportunity for a Product Strategist looking to leverage their expertise in a market-leading team on a temporary basis. Key responsibilities:

  1. Determine the positioning and target market for the company’s investment strategies.
  2. Identify, establish and develop a set of goals and actions (e.g. develop materials, product training, new vehicles, change in positioning, etc.)
  3. Oversee the ongoing execution and enhancement of the communication strategy in partnership with the investment and client groups.
  4. Contribute to the development of content (e.g. white papers, market research, pitch book, fact-sheets, etc.).
  5. Collaborate with the investment and client teams to develop and deliver regular product trainings.
  6. Monitor, evaluate and improve the business's range of investment vehicles (Private funds, UCITS, SICAVs, etc.).
  7. Observe the business’ competitive positioning in terms of objectives, performance, fees, and vehicles.

Candidate profile:

  1. Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or similar as well as MBA and/or CFA qualification is desired.
  2. 5+ years’ experience in a relevant role, 3+ years’ experience within asset management.
  3. Advanced knowledge of global institutional investors and global investment vehicles (UCITS, mutual funds, commingled funds).
  4. Advanced analytical/conceptual problem-solving skills with ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative approaches and develop actionable recommendations.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with project management, presentation development, and delivery.
  6. Demonstrate high intellectual capacity and curiosity.
  7. Have a strong work ethic, self-starter and a quick-study mentality, ability to work independently and also lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
