Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved per procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Creating network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Executing Service Requests.
• Assigning tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
• Managing incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinating traffic management activities.
• Providing network incident updates to customers.
• Collaborating with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate profile:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key requirements:

• 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
