Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team engaged in complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved per procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Creating network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Executing Service Requests.
  • Assigning tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
  • Managing incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinating traffic management activities.
  • Providing network incident updates to customers.
  • Collaborating with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate profile:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key requirements:

  • 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
